Offline grace

Sendpad is designed to work offline. After your initial activation, you can be disconnected for up to 30 days and Pro features keep working. This covers planes, trains, coffee-shop wifi, air-gapped environments, and long stretches on VPN.

On activation, Sendpad caches a signed validation record locally. While online, it silently re-validates at most once every 24 hours to refresh the cache. While offline, Pro features continue as long as the last successful validation is within the 30-day window.

At day 25+ offline, a yellow warning banner appears: “Offline grace: N days left. Connect to the internet to re-validate.” Pro features still work normally until day 30.

Pro features lock. Everything Free keeps working — nothing is ever taken from you. Reconnect to the internet and Sendpad re-validates silently; Pro unlocks again within seconds.

  • 24h validation cadence — rare enough not to care about unreliable wifi, frequent enough to catch deactivations quickly.
  • 30-day offline grace — covers the longest realistic offline stretches for developer workflows (international flights, sabbaticals, remote work in transit).

Both are fixed — there’s no way to extend them from the client, and no way to shorten them either.

The validation call sends only your license key and device ID. No request content, no response data, no file paths, no project metadata — nothing about your work ever leaves your machine.
